Martin Babinec

Martin founded Silicon Valley based TriNet (NYSE: TNET) in 1988, serving as CEO for the company’s first 20 years and Chairman until 2010. He also founded and chairs Upstate Venture Connect, a nonprofit dedicated to accelerating growth of startups across Upstate NY, and UpVentures where he makes direct investments in startup companies and serves as limited partner and advisor to several venture capital and seed funds. James founded Solstice Power, a solar technology company specializing in concentrated photovoltaics, serving as CEO for four years.
